Welcome to the home page of the MBC project.

This is a research project funded by the EPSRC of Great Britain to develop novel market-based methods for the design, management, evolution and control of complex, distributed computational systems.

The project brings together a multi-disciplinary team with expertise in multi-agent systems, economic theory, evolutionary computation, and complex adaptive systems from three leading British Universities and three high-technology companies.

The project is part of the EPSRC's research programme in Novel Computation.
